Baby's First Birthday!

My sweet little one turned 1, can you believe it! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital and now she is growing up before our eyes! I have to admit I had a hard time with it, but I know she has to grow up and she will always be my baby! Marley weighs 22 lbs now and is 29 in long! Yeah she's going to be short but that's ok so are her parents! We spent the day with the birthday girl by having her pictures made and then going to the Ft. Worth Zoo. Marley was such a good girl during her photo session and then was in love with all the zoo animals.

We celebrated Marley's birthday with GiGi and Granddad on Oct. 3. They drove from Kansas just to see their little girl! As it turned out, my Dad was in Ft. Worth on business so he got to stop over for a visit too! Marley had fun opening her gifts and eating birthday cake! That same weekend she also gave everyone else a gift - the worst, most contagious stomach virus ever! Marley got sick Friday night and by Sunday everyone was sick! But at least my baby had a good weekend!
